There was recently a race at Road America that was won by the combination of Acura and Wayne Taylor Racing. Filipe and Ricky Taylor recently won this race this summer while weather conditions were shifting around. Specifically, they won the IMSA Fast Lane Sports Car Weekend event at Road America. Unofficially, Accura has clinched the IMSA championships for 2022 in different categories. The victory was accomplished due to a late race pass that had all the excitement of a daring racing video. They were able to pull off the victory while they were moving through GT congestion. This happened in early August. Acura has now won the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for their 5th win of the year, showing substantial momentum. They played against another Acura team, including Meyer Shank, Tom Blomquist, and Oliver Jarvis. They were both driving prototypes, and both cars made a beginning move between turn 3 to turn 5. These two teams were battling against another similar proto type from Chip Ganassi Racing, making quite a few similar vehicles all battling it out on this race night.
